Our Graduate Diploma of Home Economics Education is designed especially for teachers wishing to upgrade their qualifications.
Home Economics Victoria is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and can deliver the Graduate Diploma of Home Economics Education in all Australian states and territories. The Graduate Diploma of Home Economics Education has been approved by ASQA (2023-2027).
Developed by Home Economics Victoria, the Graduate Diploma of Home Economics Education is a nationally recognised course that is designed to provide teachers with advanced knowledge and skills to teach home economics education from years 7-12 and to effectively plan, teach and assess home economics lessons of work. This includes subjects with varying titles related to food, nutrition, family, consumer, resource management, health and human development drawn from the learning areas of health and physical education; and design and technologies.

- Eight units part-time over two years
